Institutions on the Flint Cultural Center campus include Sloan Museum, Buick Gallery & Research Center, Longway Planetarium, The Whiting, Flint Youth Theatre, Flint Institute of Arts and Flint Institute of Music.

The Flint Cultural Center (FCC) invites you on a journey of discovery and imagination to a place where you can experience entertainment, embrace knowledge, and dream beyond the world you know. As home to a group of nationally-recognized cultural institutions aimed at furthering the arts, sciences and humanities, the FCC offers a truly unique educational and entertainment resource. Buick Gallery and Research Center
Buick Gallery and Research Center.The Buick Gallery is home to the largest collection of vintage, one-of-a-kind and experimental prototype Buick's, including the recently restored 1954 Wildcat II, the XP300 and the 1910 Buick Bug. In addition, the Gallery houses an automotive and local historical records research facility. For more information, (click here).

Flint Institute of ArtsFlint Institute of Arts.
Established in 1928 as a museum and art school, the Flint Institute of Arts has recently undergone two extensive, multi-million dollar renovations and currently houses a rich collection of over 6,500 works of art, from 16th century renaissance paintings to modern abstract sculpture. The Flint Institute of Arts is one of the largest museums in Michigan and is home to one of the nation's largest museum art schools, offering classes year round for students from 2 1/2 years to adult. Flint Institute of Music
Flint Institute of Music.The Flint Institute of Music is home to the Flint Symphony Orchestra (FSO) and the Flint School of Performing Arts (FSPA). The FSO is composed of 77 professional musicians and is led by Maestro Enrique Diemecke, who has gained an international reputation as one of the world's most dynamic conductors. Each year, the FSPA offers performing arts and education programs in music and dance to more than 3,000 students, making it the largest community school for the arts in Michigan. Flint Youth Theatre
Flint Youth Theatre - Bower Theater, Elgood TheaterNationally recognized for its provocative, intergenerational programming, Flint Youth Theatre (FYT) presents award-winning professional theatrical productions and offers year-round classes for area youth through it's Drama School. In it's home at The William S. and Claire M. White Center, which includes Elgood Theater and Bower Theater, FYT productions not only entertain but also provide audiences of all ages with uncompromising explorations of compelling social issues. FYT is a recipient of a "Great Lakes Community Arts Award" presented by The Michigan Association of Community Arts Agencies (2002) and a "Governors' Arts Award" presented by ArtServe Michigan (2001). Longway Planetarium
Longway Planetarium.Explore the wonders of outer space and experience scientific discovery at Michigan's largest planetarium. Longway's Sky Theater is equipped with the latest Digistar II technology, producing amazing three-dimensional star fields and astounding special effects. Dazzle your senses with all-new laser shows. The Whiting
The Whiting. The best and brightest stars illuminate the stage of this 2,100-seat theater. Home to The Whiting Presents Season and host to the Flint Symphony Orchestra, The Whiting presents dazzling performances from classical music, theater, and dance to big-name Broadway shows and legendary entertainers. But the real stars are our audience, where the spotlight is on their enjoyment of a total entertainment experience. At The Whiting, the spotlight’s on you! Sloan Museum
Sloan Museum.From fur trading and pioneer life, to lumbering, carraige making, and the automobile boom of General Motors, the Alfred P. Sloan Museum brings history, culture, and technology to life for the entire family. Visitors can also enjoy the Discovery Center, featuring hands-on science fun for all ages and a variety of special lectures and workshops for adults and children.
